Tower of Fantasy sets the bar high when it comes to exploration, as there are plenty of activities and rewards on offer for players eager for adventure. Among the quirks that can be found in the open world of Aesperia, we have the lava pits . According to the description given by the game, this is a common natural phenomenon.
Most of the self-regenerating lava springs from the depths and comes from decaying magma as well as radioactive substances. These pits are not there by chance, so it will have to be activated! But how ? In this guide, we explain how to take advantage of this molten liquid and the different alternatives available to you if you are not able to meet all the prerequisites.
How to activate the lava pits?
Like tar pits (small cavities covered with tar) or creepers that prevent access to modules, you will have to use an element to activate the lava. While the two exploration points require the fire element, the lava pits require the ice element to be transformed.
If you don't have frost weapons, all you have to do is fetch frost cores and throw it at them to activate them. If ever no cores are available to you, you will unfortunately have to wait to obtain a simulacrum of ice in your summons. Nevertheless, on this kind of event, cores will always be at your disposal, you will simply have to look for them.
What if the lava pit is not filled?
On Tower of Fantasy, there is a small timer system; from time to time you will not be able to open supply modules or burn Kerosenia (flower that must be burned). However, the game will give you a small indication of how long it will take for the lava to rise or the oil to fill with the flower, so check back once those exploration points are ready.
What do lava pits give?
So far, we have only found one lava pit: in the Baen River of Mount Woochu in the Banges region. This gave us a gold nucleus , enough to launch summons for the Weapons of Choice banner.
That's it, you are normally ready to activate all the lava pits you come across on your way. Don't forget to complete all the exploration points, as there are many rewards to be collected in each of the regions (black nucleus, gold nucleus, skins for your character and resources to improve your weapons).
You certainly won't be able to reach the maximum level of Tower of Fantasy in just a few days because of this feature.
