Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released this Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today we are going to focus on Wall E.
Introducing Wall-E
It was in 2008 that the animated film WALL-E, directed by Andrew Stanton, was released on the screens. The storyline takes place in the future and follows the story of a cubic robot designed to clean the Earth of its waste. It unfortunately becomes over the years the last to operate. Alone on his small desert planet, he will then fall under the spell of another robot completely opposite to him in his looks and manners, named EVE. He will follow her into space for an adventure that will change the destiny of humanity.
Currently, in the game, only Wall-E is available although a realm is dedicated to him. Maybe Eve will join the adventure later!
Unlock Wall-E, his house and his rewards by friendship level
Wall-E is one of the characters that unlocks by visiting their kingdoms in the Castle of Dreams. For the little robot, you must open the door on the far left at the castle and complete his kingdom quest in order to bring him to your house.
-
You can then build Wall-E's "house", a kind of rusty caravan , and place it wherever you want.
Below are the rewards Wall-E gives you at each friendship level. Level 10 is the maximum you can reach. Then, it will no longer be useless to make him gain experience, but it will always be more advantageous to take him to accompany you on an excursion since his bonuses will be higher.
As for Wall-e's favorite gifts , know that he really appreciates DIY parts: make sure that this object is one of his 3 daily favorite gifts but in general, he comes back often.
Like any other character, Wall-E will offer you to follow Story quests to advance the scenario but also Friendship quests.
The shy little robot
kingdom quest
By entering the kingdom of Wall-E, you will be able to meet the robot and repair it. To do this, you will have to search the surroundings to find a Caterpillar (a repair piece). It is located in the fridge lying on the ground: the kingdom has some containers of the kind that you can search for objects.
Give the caterpillar to Wall-E then return to your own kingdom to:
- Talk to Mickey and go to his house in the Esplanade to retrieve a ball ,
- Talk to Goofy and fish in the ponds of Tranquil Meadow until you find a boot with sprout.
Now you can place Wall-E's house wherever you want and use Scrooge's building board to spend 2000 coins and start building.
It's good to be home
Kingdom Quest 2
Now that Wall-E's house is built, he will have to be introduced to his neighbors so that he feels comfortable. Go talk to Goofy while Wall-E follows you. Then you will need to pick 3 different flowers (it doesn't matter which ones) and feed a Village Critter . To learn how, please see the guide below:
Village project: the Garden
friendship quest 1
This quest is extremely important as it will allow you to unlock Wall-E's Great Garden . A place where the robot will grow seeds for you for free, which you can then harvest. It is possible to improve it thanks to the construction panel in order to enlarge it and plant more seeds. Be careful though, it is impossible to plant your own seeds.
Talk to Wall-E and follow him to the Ruined Garden in Tranquil Meadow. You will need the following materials to repair it:
- 5 candy cane seeds (you can buy them at Goofy's stand on the Enchanted Beach)
- 5 Wheat Seeds (to be purchased at the Goofy stand in the Prairie Tranquille),
- 1 Trellis (to be crafted using your workbench),
-
3 Burlap Bags (craftable at your workbench)
To find the white and pink falling penstemon needed to craft the trellis: collect all the flowers in the Esplanade so that others will reappear.
Once the garden is repaired, do not hesitate to improve it as quickly as possible to recover even more vegetables and cereals.
The Compressed Waste Incident
Friendship Quest 2 - Level 4
Follow Wall-E again who will tell you that he did something stupid: compressed waste cubes are now scattered around the village. Collect them until you find a strange machine that you will have to bring to the robot.
The broken memory
Friendship Quest 3 - Level 6
You will need to have unlocked the Forest of Courage but above all fulfill a "hidden condition" to obtain this quest. The condition in question (for us anyway) is to find a memory buried in the ground . In our case, the bright hole was in Tranquil Prairie.
Once the memory is freed, the quest will start on its own. Go to Wall-E and help him search for electronic components in his house. Then follow him to his kingdom to find the last electronic component.
Go home and craft DIY parts at the workbench using iron ingots. Thanks to the 3 electronic components and DIY parts, use the workbench again, in the "refined material" tab to make an anti-forget.
A friendly exchange
Friendship Quest 4 - Level 8
To unlock this quest, you will need to advance with Ariel and more specifically reach her level 7 quest. On the Enchanted Beach, you can then dig through the glowing holes until you find a Wall-E keepsake that will trigger her quest. Go see Wall-E then talk to Ariel about the memory before coming back to talk to Wall-E.
The two friends will then want to exchange objects. To do this, you will need to find:
- A bowling pin : it's at Goofy's, on the floor next to the small triangular table.
- A miniature train : it is at Mickey's, on the dining table.
- A light bulb : it's at Wall-E, on the floor.
Give the items to Wall-E then follow him to the edge of the ocean to talk to Ariel. This is Wall-E's final quest. Feel free to raise it to level 10 friendship anyway to get special rewards.
