Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released this Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today we are going to focus on Anna.
Introducing Anna from Frozen
Anna is Elsa's little sister in the 2013 animated film Frozen. It is also strongly inspired by a tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen published in 1844. In the cinema, the story of Disney delighted young and old with the famous Princess Anna, always optimistic, who will do everything to save her sister from ice magic spiraling out of control. On the way, she will meet Olaf, a snowman, and Kristoff, the love of her life always accompanied by her reindeer Sven. In the game, we find Anna, Kristoff and Elsa for the moment.
Unlock Anna, her house and her rewards by friendship level
If Kristoff automatically unlocks by going to the Forest of Courage, Anna and her sister Elsa must be freed from the kingdom of Arendelle (painting on the second floor of the Castle of Dreams).

Anna's house is directly in the Forest of Courage , to the far west. It is an ice castle where Kristoff also lives.
Below are the rewards Anna gives you at each friendship level. Level 10 is the maximum you can reach. Then, it will no longer be useless to make him gain experience, but it will always be more advantageous to take him to accompany you on an excursion since his bonuses will be higher.
As for Anna's favorite gifts , know that she really appreciates Flowers: make sure that this object is one of her 3 daily favorite gifts, but in general, it comes up often.
Once Anna has been brought back to the Village, she will offer you friendship quests to advance the scenario but also her level.
The Spirits of Nature
Kingdom Quest 1
To unlock Anna and Elsa, you must go to the Castle of Dreams, climb the stairs and unlock the middle painting with 4000 Dreamlight. This will automatically trigger your first quest with Anna. Enter Arendelle to speak to him. You will find yourself in a burning forest and will have to look for Bruni, the spirit of fire.
To do this, take out your watering can and start exploring the forest while extinguishing the flames . Putting on the fireproof gloves via your wardrobe is optional. Bruni is hard to find: you need to spot a purple glow that runs away every time you move forward and chase it down. Get close enough to it and interact with it to pick it up. If you can't see it, put out all the flames in the area!
Give Bruni to Anna who will then ask you to prepare a stone soup to create a diversion from the stone golem:
- 3 pieces of rock (they are around Anna, in the forest, to pick up on the ground)
- 1 Basilisk (you can find some in the area or return to the village),

1 oregano (same)
Use a cooker to cook the dish then place it on the pillar of rocks which is not far from Anna: this will attract the golem and you will finally be able to free the passage behind the pillar.
Now grab your pickaxe and shovel to make your way down this muddy alley. Go to the bottom, towards the ice peaks , to start the rest of the quest and talk to Anna. Approach the pond and fish in the golden circle to find Anna 's engagement ring .
chase the wind
Kingdom Quest 2
Cross the frozen lake to talk to Elsa. In order to calm the spirit of the wind, she will ask you to craft x3 chimes with:
- 15 softwood
- 3 iron ingot
- 3 string (she gives them to you)
Then place the chimes on the trees next to Elsa (spot the glitter on the trees). This will calm the wind spirit and then you can welcome Anna into your kingdom!
An icy invitation
Friendship Quest 1 - Level 2
Follow Anna to the Forest of Courage and look for a book in the library of her house (Ice Palace). This quest will help you improve your shovel with removing tree stumps on the ground! For this you will need:
- 10 softwood
- 4 hardwood
- 4 iron ingot

3 crafting pieces (to be done at the workbench with ingots)
Once the elements have been gathered, craft a Shovel Bucket in the "potion and enchantment" tab and then give it to Anna.
Remove the three stumps blocking the Forest of Courage bridge to gain access to the other side. At the bottom you will see an ice cave with a purple entrance. Take a selfie from the cave and collect Anna's letter to Elsa. Return to the Kingdom of Arendelle via the Castle of Dreams (table). Talk to Elsa to give her everything and invite her to join your village.
Lost loves and faded memories
Friendship Quest 2 - Level 4
To continue, you must have progressed with Mother Gothel and unlocked the Sunny Plateau. To lift the Curse, Kristoff had to give up his memories of Anna. Now that she is back, the latter intends to do everything so that he remembers her. Let Anna walk towards him and listen to their conversation (if it bugs, enter a house and come out).
Head to Enchanted Beach, near Ursula's Cave, to pick up Kristoff 's climbing gear . Your objective will now be to repair it with the following materials:
- 8 hardwood
- 5 cloth (you will need silk, made with cotton: buy cottonseed from the sunny plateau)
- 3 rope (need fiber and therefore seaweed),
- 3 iron ingot
Repair the equipment from your workbench and then bring it to Anna. Listen again to the two lovers chatting. Unfortunately, Kristoff still doesn't remember her.
The enchanted ring
Friendship Quest 3 - Level 7
You must advance with Kristoff in order to unlock the rest of the quest. Go talk to Merlin to enchant Anna's engagement ring. For this he will need:
- 10 dream shards : in the nocturnal thorns or in your mailbox if you haven't yet collected the gift from the developers
- 3 red mushrooms : you will find them all around the large willow tree in Bayou de la Confiance, on the ground.

Would you like to make a snowman?
Friendship Quest 4 - Level 10
Anna wants to celebrate Elsa's birthday. Go to his house (ice castle) to find the portrait book in the library. Then bake a birthday cake with the following ingredients:
- 1 Wheat (Quiet Meadow)
- 1 canna sugar (enchanted beach)
- 1 Butter (Remy's restaurant)
- 1 Cocoa (bayou or platter)
- 1 egg (Remy's restaurant)
Go give the gifts to Elsa. Anna will then want to make a snow family:
- 40 snowballs (by picking the big ice spikes or by digging in the snow of the Frozen Heights)
- 12 pebbles (digging the ground)
- 8 fabric (with silk and therefore cotton)
- 8 dry wood (on the ground of the sunny plateau or the icy heights)

Talk to Anna then craft the snow family with your workbench. Place it in the Forest of Courage.
