Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released this Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today, we are going to focus on Remy.
Presentation of Remy in Ratatouille
Released in 2007 , the Pixar animated film Ratatouille was a great success with an original story and sublime music. We discover the life of a rat named Remy who is very good at cooking and recognizing smells. His dream is to work in a starred restaurant in Paris and he will achieve this with the help of his faithful human: Linguini. The adventure will obviously be strewn with pitfalls. For the moment, in the game, only Rémy is present.
Unlock Remy, his house and his rewards by friendship level
Remy can be unlocked using the kingdom table found in the Castle of Dreams (the table on the right). By entering inside, the first quest will start automatically.

Rémy's house is a huge Parisian building that you will have to place yourself once the rat has been brought back to your kingdom (and therefore its first quest completed)
Below, here are the rewards Remy gives you at each friendship level. Level 10 is the maximum you can reach. Then, it will no longer be useless to make him gain experience, but it will always be more advantageous to take him to accompany you on an excursion since his bonuses will be higher.
Like any other character, Remy will therefore offer you to follow Story quests to advance the scenario but also Friendship quests.
An important evening at the restaurant
Kingdom Quest 1
Upon entering the kingdom of Ratatouille, you will be able to talk to Remy for the first time in his Parisian restaurant. The quest is not so simple since you will have to cook different dishes without having the recipes at hand. This is why we have concocted a dedicated guide for you with the procedure and the recipes for Ratatouille , Ranch Salad, etc.
Once this quest is complete, you can bring Rémy to your kingdom and set up his house, as well as re-open his restaurant "Chez Rémy".

Story quest - village
This quest will allow you to renovate the Restaurant Chez Rémy : a very important place which will then give you the possibility of cooking thanks to the pot but above all of buying unique ingredients such as peanuts, crushed ice or cheese. The restaurant also allows you to serve orders to customers and greatly increase their friendship level. Below, you will find a complete guide on the quest but also the various improvements of the restaurant:

Thanks to a souvenir from Mickey, you will be able to locate Remy's three cookbooks in your valley. They are all buried in glowing holes on the ground:
- The 1st book is on the Enchanted Beach, just in front of the pontoon,
- The 2nd book is in the Mystical Cave, at the very bottom, near the place to cook: this requires having completed the quest With great powers,
- The 3rd book is in the Tranquil Meadow, to the left of the large stairs leading to the Beach.
You will then have to return to the kingdom of Ratatouille (via the door of the castle of dreams) in order to "find what is missing". Head to the back of the restaurant towards the jars of jam and the peanut service: that's exactly what Rémy is looking for. This will unlock Peanuts for purchase in the Chez Rémy restaurant.
Remy will ask you to prepare peanut butter waffles for him, here is the recipe:

Remy will show you that it is possible to serve orders in his restaurant. Put on the cook outfit he gave you and help him complete 3 orders at the restaurant. You can expand the restaurant if you want more customers to come there at the same time.
The unknown flavor
Friendship Quest 3 - Level 10
To access this mission, you will need to have unlocked Wall-E but also the Sunny Plateau, Frozen Heights and Enchanted Beach biomes. This quest will allow you to unlock the Shaved Ice ingredient at the restaurant. To start, after talking to Remy, go see Merlin to ask him for help. Enter inside his house (observatory) and retrieve the notes in his back library.
The recipe will ask you to gather 3 Purified Nightshards (Nightshard found in Shiny Holes and Dreamshard). Then go to Wall-E to grind the shards to powder.
Now you will need the following:
- 15 snowballs (found in the Frozen Heights by breaking ice spikes or digging in the ground),

1 Purified Nightshard Powder (you just got it from Wall-E)
Using your workbench, craft Shaved Ice in the "functional items" tab. Give everything to Remy and prepare the "vanilla ice cream" recipe with the following ingredients: 1 Crushed Ice + 1 Milk + 1 Sugar Cane + 1 Vanilla.
If you don't have crushed ice, you have to buy it at the restaurant Chez Rémy on the stall at the back.
