Milk Molars Grounded: List and position on the map

These special treats give fantastic permanent passive bonuses to your teens, making them vital to progressing in Grounded. Here is a map with directions to find them, as well as a guide on how to use them and their bonuses.

Grounded does not offer a conventional leveling system. Instead, it rewards careful exploration of the garden, in order to find its various secrets and bonuses. Mutations are cool, but Milk Molars are much better, as they grant bonuses in almost every area, like max life, max stamina, and number of active mutations.

How Milk Molars work

Before version 1.0 of the game, 63 Milk Molars were listed: 35 normal Milk Molars (in white on the map), and 28 Mega Milk Molars (in yellow on the map). Normal builds allow you to purchase individual upgrades in different categories, such as thirst drop rate, or life. For their part, Mega Milk Molars influence the maximum stack size of resources, arrows, consumables, etc. They are active for all players in multiplayer. There may be more Milk Molars to discover, this article will be updated as needed.

Finding the Milk Molars is difficult, sometimes you will need to use tools of the right type, rank 2 or even 3. As their name suggests, they look like teeth, more specifically molars. And you need at least one Insect Hammer (rank 2) to break the Milk Molar and take its contents. There is therefore no point in rushing immediately at the start of the game, you must have improved your tools beforehand.

Map of Milk Molars

RetroBits created an excellent detailed map of Milk Molars (white) and Mega Milk Molars (yellow) before the game was released. It lacks any additions from the full game, but it's a good place to start. You can find it below. We offer a French translation of the indications and prerequisites below.
