Disney Dreamlight Valley Sunlit Plateau: Everything about this biome!

Disney Dreamlight Valley was released on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today we are going to focus on the Sunny Plateau biome.

Sunlit Plateau: unlock the parched biome

After exploring the Forest of Valor, unlocking the Sunlit Plateau is a logical next step. You will find only one passage to get there: one to the left of the Esplanade.

  • Price to unlock the area : 7000 Dreamlight
  • Price to repair the teleport shaft : 7500 Coins

Bones, Elephant Cemetery and Other Features

The Sunlit Plateau is a huge barren desert with an oasis across the bridge. Unfortunately, the passage is blocked by large bones that it is impossible to eliminate for the moment (it will be necessary to wait for a next update). Logically, it will be necessary to improve the Pickaxe again to be able to break them and free some chests but we will see with the Lion King update if the character of Scar allows us for example.

In the meantime, here's how to reach the other side of the biome:

  • You can still use the glitch that allows you to move the teleport well,
  • You can unlock the passage to the Forgotten Lands and take the back path that leads down to the Sunny Plateau.

Other notable locations in the area include the Elephant Graveyard which is likely to be Scar's base and needs to be photographed for Goofy's quest.

Sunlit Plateau: characters and quests

For the moment, no character is associated with the Sunny Plateau. No doubt that with the Lion King update, Scar will have a special connection with this area. Also, characters like Timon, Pumba, Simba, and Nala will likely call this place home. That being said, some current characters need to complete missions in this biome like Donald for example or Mother Gothel.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: A new feature teased for the update!

The next Disney Dreamlight Valley update should be released in a few days and, in addition to fixing many bugs and adding content from The Lion King, a new feature should also be included!
