The Return of the River God of War Ragnarok, The Crater: How to complete this jungle quest?
0

It's not just the vast plains to visit in God of War Ragnarök's Vanaheim Crater, two other ancillary areas are stuck there: the jungle to the southwest and the sinkholes to the southeast. In this new quest you will significantly change the landscape of the entire Crater.

After saving Birgir from the clutches of the Crimson Terror in the For Vanaheim quest of God of War Ragnarok, this mission is the one we recommend you do directly after in order to unlock all the missing areas for a good exploration of Vanaheim Crater. Here's how to restore the water level of the river throughout the crater area.

Go to the jungle

First step: go to this famous secondary area. It's quite simple, by going to the southwest you will manage to find one through which to sneak. Simply follow the trail, which will then take you past some ruins, before finally reaching the famous lush area. Ignore the troll who is throwing cannonballs at you from afar and head straight to the right. On the way you will be attacked by two wurg, after which you will end up seeing the famous dam created by Odin, all you have to do is open it.

The Return of the River

Move forward until you face an elevator whose entrance is blocked by red brambles: burn them and climb to the top of the dam where a little riddle awaits you , nothing complicated you'll see. Start by taking out the enemies on the roof and on the first platform, break the wall behind some crates with your Lance Draupnir to get to the other side. There eliminate the nokken a little further to make the two draurgr vulnerable, then before you even start turning the wheel in the center, go burn the red ivy on your left with a combo of sigillary arrows. Now climb the wheel to the max and keep it level by swinging your Leviathan Ax on the mechanism to your right. The door in the center will be used to create a surface for your sigil arrows and thus reach the vines above. Once that's done, spin the wheel one last time to make the river flow again throughout the Crater region.
