Kratos doesn't like normal swords, he just uses them for a brief moment in combat in order to get a buff or trigger a special effect, which can turn the tide of battle. Discover a guide with the list of relics of God of War, as well as their power and their position.

God of War Ragnarok Relics: Collector, where to find all sword hilts?

God of War Ragnarök introduces a new type of equipment with relics. We could describe them as accessories, with active power only, which gives them very varied uses in combat, and sometimes, outside of combat. There's something for everyone, so you shouldn't overlook them.

Relics are not upgraded at the forge, but directly from the inventory, by spending experience. It's a bit problematic in the early game, when you don't have many in stock. It is therefore better to test them in their basic version, before deciding to improve them, or not. You can use an equipped relic by pressing L1 + Circle .

God of War: Ragnarok

List of relics and how to get them

There are a total of 14 relics, finding them all will unlock the Collector's Trophy, but know that it's not an easy task, since the last ones are hidden in the high level content, which awaits you after completing the story main. This includes the King of Berserkers , which requires killing all of his minions first, which involves clearing the vast majority of the game's optional content.

You need to find the 4 Lost Pages, scattered around the game, in order to be able to craft certain relics at the blacksmith. Their position is listed at the bottom of the article.

Talisman of Vigor

The first relic in the game, it is automatically given to you during Chapter 2: Quest for Tyr. It allows you to gain an offensive bonus for precious seconds. It's a basic relic, but should come in handy on higher difficulty settings.

God of War: Ragnarok

Gram Handful

Obtained in Alfheim, from a Legendary Chest in the Temple of Light. It's a fantastic relic to use between fights, to fill up your Rage bar to the maximum before each confrontation.

God of War: Ragnarok

Dodher's Glaive

This relic is offered as a reward by killing the mini-boss Fiske, in Vanaheim , when you accompany Freya, during Chapter 6: The Hour of Reckoning.

God of War: Ragnarok

Ridill's Handful

You need to eliminate the various enemy camps around the temple of Tyr, at the Lake of Nine, in Midgard . You'll eventually face mini-boss Olaf Nautson , who will drop the component you need. You also need to have found a lost page. It remains only to make the handle at the blacksmith.

God of War: Ragnarok

Angrvadall's Handful

Found on the Ground Dragon boss "Panse de Jarre" behind the closed door north of Forbidden Sands . You need to find the 2 service keys "The Door to the Desert" in order to free him and confront him. You also need a lost page. You can then craft the handle at the blacksmith.

God of War: Ragnarok

Project Huldres N ° 9

Simply forged at the blacksmith, in the "Special Items" and "Relics" tab in exchange for 10,000 silver, if you have progressed far enough in the story.

God of War: Ragnarok

Dainsleif Handle

You must have obtained the spear, and thus unlocked access to Alberich's Abyss, east of Svartalfheim Booty Bay . Durin's quest will send you there. A painful mini-boss by the name of Ormsunga awaits you there. Kill him to recover Svefnthorn. There must also be a lost page. You can craft the handle at the blacksmith.

God of War: Ragnarok

mystical heritage

You need the Draupnir Spear to start. Use it to clear a rock with a weak spot north of the Treasury , which itself is south of the Lake of Nine in Midgard. The relic is on the ground. It has no use in combat, it is used to complete a secret quest that unlocks one of the best armors in the game.

God of War: Ragnarok

Tyrfing's Grip

You must kill the werewolf mini-boss Blatonn on your second trip to Vanaheim to free Freyr. It is not far from the abandoned village. You also need a lost page. Then forge the relic at the blacksmith.

God of War: Ragnarok

Hofud handle

Another relic given automatically as a reward during the story. This time, it's after killing Heimdall, during Chapter 13: Creatures of Prophecy .

God of War: Ragnarok

Hrotti handle

Go to The Plains , north of Vanaheim , after saving Freyr. There are 3 Vagabond mini-bosses there, equipped with heavy armor and a large sword. You need to kill at least two of them to get the relic, it doesn't matter which ones.

God of War: Ragnarok

Call of Motsognir

After completing the main story, travel to Nilfheim. A passage appeared between the training area and the crow tree . This leads to the Ase Prison Ruins. Inside are holes to create horizontal bars with the spear. They must then be moved up or down in order to navigate the area. At the top of the prison, you can find a Legendary Chest. The handle is on the floor, next to the trunk. It is very easy to miss it, it has no special light effect.

Forsbrandr's Grip

Another complicated handful to obtain, since you will need to have found and killed the 48 Ravens of Odin . After opening the 6 legendary chests of Nilfheim, the Raven Guardian boss will appear. You have to kill her in the Nilfheim training area. When she dies, she will leave the relic to you.

God of War: Ragnarok

Skofnung handle

The last relic in the game, and the most difficult to obtain, since it is held by King Hrolf , in the Tomb of the King of Midgard . He only appears after killing all 12 Berserkers in the realms.

Position of lost pages

These weapon blueprints are used to craft relics, when you have found the necessary special materials.

  • Alfheim - Scorched Lands : North of the area, in front of a Legendary Chest and a Raven of Odin. We must have interrupted the sandstorm.
  • Alfheim - Forbidden Sands : To the east of the area, in the elf sanctuary. The plan is placed on one of the tables in the main room.
  • Midgard - Lost Treasure : Southwest of the Lake of Nine, after completing Service: Sigrun's Curse, climb the Golden Range, then turn around to see a cracked ground you can dash through, in order to land in the treasury.
  • Vanaheim - The plains : In the large optional area north of Vanaheim, reach the well of wishes, in which you have to throw crystals to purify. Take the exit which brings you back to the first mystical portal in the area and which allows you to deploy a golden chain as a shortcut. The page is located between the two.
