Capsakid Pokémon Scarlet Violet: How to evolve it into Scovillain?

Capsakid Pokémon Scarlet Violet: How to evolve it into Scovillain?
0

In this new page dedicated to a Pokémon from the Pokédex of the Paldea region in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, we will focus on little Capsakid and especially on its evolution from 9G, quite unique in its kind.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have a few surprises in store, even for the most diligent monster hunters who have scoured the many regions of the license for almost a quarter of a century (come on, it's for us, it makes us happy): some monsters obviously have unique forms dedicated to the Paldea region, while other Pokémon have their types changed. This is the case of the 250th Pokémon in the regional Pokédex of Paldea, the little Pimito and its evolution into Scovillain and its unique mix of types .

Introducing Capsakid and where to find it

Capsakid is a ninth generation Pokémon, but it is especially its evolution that is noteworthy, since the Scovillain is the very first pocket monster that you can have with fire and plant types simultaneously

  • Paldea Pokédex Number : 250
  • National Pokédex number : 938
  • Type : Plant

You can find your first Pimito in West Zone #1, Roasting Desert, Desert Biomes, Mountain Biomes, or Teracrystal Raids (2 stars).

How to evolve Capsakid?

You can evolve Capsakid into Scovillain thanks to the firestone evolution object, a reward obtained thanks to a certain level of completion of the Pokédex for example.

Capsakid shiny: what does it look like?

It is very important to know what the Shiny forms of the Pokémon look like in these versions since no clues will be left on the screen: no little stars or shrill sound warning you like in Pokémon Legends Arceus. Of course, the color difference will probably jump out at you, but it's sometimes tricky in the case of Pokémon with light (hello Pikachu) or unknown chromatic forms.

  • Instead of being green, Capsakid shiny is yellow.

The chance of finding a shiny is 1/4096 in the game. You can optimize this chance with the Chroma Charm (which is obtained once the entire Pokédex is completed) or the Taste Auras of the dishes you eat.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: An open world too ambitious for the franchise?

The new Pokemon now available and after testing it a question arises, isn't the game too ambitious? Between features removed, exp too easy and activities, we talk about it!
