Need help in your first Hearthstone Arenas? Take the Heartharena Companion add-on which will help you in your choices and will save your prowess.

Hearthstone, Heartharena Companion Guide

If you are new to Hearthstone or you don't know the Arena mode very well, you're in the right place. No worries, you're not alone, that's why we created a guide explaining how to use a very helpful add-on: Heartharena Companion. It tracks your performance and helps you in drafting, among other uses.

Hearthstone

How to get the add-on

It's free, so all you have to do is download it (here). The best way to use it is with a specific account where your amazing (or shameful) performances will be saved.

Once downloaded, Overwolf will manage this add-on among others. When you launch the game, a small menu will appear in the corner of your screen, as shown down below.

Hearthstone

A great draft helper

The Companion will show you the value of 3-card packs following a specific tier list. It is clever: the values will change considering your deck composition and potential synergies. So you will have 2 values to compare: the big one, more accurate, and the Tier score on the right of it, only based on the card value, without considering the other cards of your deck.

Hearthstone

Should I always pick the most high-scored card?

Most of the time, the answer will be YES. The value is accurate since it is calculated considering your deck and the proper card value. But you can perfectly change your mind.

Ok, finished it! Should I close Heartharena?

There is nothing stopping it, but the role of Heartharena goes beyond the draft: it will also track your performances during the games as your winrate (even if it is less useful than the Hearthstone Decktracker) and your deck, as showing all of your cards left round after round.

Hearthstone

Other features

You can see useful information about your deck before launching a game (or after, your choice). Once your 30th chosen card, a webpage will open and you will access several tabs: deck overview and its synergies, its profile, your picks overview... and a last page you can fill in (with gold, dust, and cards won...).

This will all create a database saved on the Heartharena website, that you will be able to show to your friends to prove that you got the key of 12 wins or watch your improvement over time. However, you want to remember to launch the tool each time you launch an Arena or it will not be saved.

And to finish...

Heartharena is a great help in drafting that most of Arena players use. Even if you often know which card to choose, the software can remind you of some things you wouldn't notice or remember.

There is no shame in using this add-on! The Arena mode is totally different from the Classic ladder. Improvement demands time and patience, but it's also an efficient way to earn more gold.
