Borderlands 3 Skill Trees: A complete guide to Fl4k & the Beastmaster class

I promise, this is the last time we'll tell you that Gearbox Software's next game, Borderlands 3, will have a cast of 4 character classes. One of them, Fl4k, only counts as one but he has 3 nice little animals with him. Nevertheless, the Beastmaster is an extraordinary tracker. That's why we have made you a guide so you can never lose track of your enemies.

Fl4k, the BeastMaster

FL4K is a wandering robot always accompanied by one of its three pets on the battlefield. The Beastmaster is an experienced hunter who never stops hunting his prey. He is constantly on the hunt, accompanied by his faithful creatures who will do anything to please him. Thus, you will often see him reward his Spiderant, his Skag and his Jabber. He cannot do without them in a world full of dangers like Borderlands 3.

This robotic pack leader benefits from both an Action Skill and an autonomous pet, who fights alongside him and obeys his orders to attack specific targets. His skills allow him to launch explosive Rakks, teleport pets irradiated by gamma explosion via a fault, or temporarily disappear with increased travel speed and regeneration.

Critical hits are crucial for the Hunter skill tree. The Master tree offers many ways to increase the damage done with your pet. FL4K can directly help his family member with his skills. You will find many ways to improve your ability to survive in the Stalker Competency Tree.

Fl4k, one Action Skill and pets

Fl4k can therefore have an Action Skill and an independently equipped pet. His Action Skill is represented by the hexagon, like all the other characters. The latter can be improved twice by two chevrons, which must be part of the same skill tree as the said action skill. Finally, Fl4k may have a familiar face with him. This is represented by the diamond shaped icon. Fl4k can take any of his unlocked pets and equip him to order him to attack.
