Strategy
Ouro will alternate between being submerged underground and being partially exposed on the surface. The boss will use Sweep when he is above ground, dealing 1,500-2,000 damage and knocking back players in melee range. You should have your tanks alternate between holding aggro, as Ouro will use Sand Blast on the target with the highest threat every 25 seconds. This spell deals 3,500-4,500 Nature damage in a 180° cone from the boss to the target.
Whenever Ouro tunnels underground, typically every 90 seconds, he will cast Ground Rupture, which deals damage to all players that stay inside its AoE. Ouro will also summon tens of Scarabs which must be quickly killed, as they will each select an initial target to relentlessly pursue, though they will despawn after 45 seconds.
At 20% life, the boss will go Berserk and increase his attack speed by 150% and damage dealt by 100%. He will no longer attempt to submerge, instead preferring to cast Ground Rupture and summon Scarabs from the surface.
