In this guide, we will teach you how to evolve your Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield. But it is also possible to find all the eeveelutions directly in the Wild!

There are 8 evolutions of Eevee. Some evolutions depend on the affection you have for your pokémon, others will only require Evolutionary Stones. But know that in Pokémon Sword and Shield, it is possible to find Eeevee's Evolutions directly in the wild.

Where to find Eevee?

Eevee can be found on route 4 during any time of the day and weather. But it's a rare Pokémon with a 1% chance in Sword and 5% in Shield.

Evolutionary Stones, Friendship and Wild Area

Each Eeveelutions can be done with an Evolutionary Stone (or Friendship), but can also be find in the Lake of Outrage (Wild Area)

Vaporeon

Use a Water Stone

Lake of Outrage = Rain

Jolteon

Use a Thunder Stone

Lake of Outrage = Thunderstorm

Flareon

Use a Fire Stone

Lake of Outrage = Harsh Sunlight

Espeon

When leveled up with high friendship in the Day Time.

Lake of Outrage = Foggy

Umbreon

When leveled up with high friendship in the Night Time.

Lake of Outrage = Sandstorm

Glaceon

Use an Ice Stone

Lake of Outrage = Snowstorm

Leafeon

Use a Leaf Stone

Lake of Outrage = Clear Weather

Sylveon

When leveled up with a Fairy-type move and 3 levels of Affection

Lake of Outrage = Cloudy

Where to find Evolutionary Stones?

The Evolutionary Stones are quite simple to find but we will still give you some tips and place to get some:

  • The Poké-Job missions will hopefully allow you to have your Pokémon back with one of them.
  • On routes 8 and 9, if you search a little deeper, you can find some.
  • On the Big Stones in the middle of the lake of Outrage, in the Wild Area you will find each Evolutionary stones.
  • With 500W each time, you can use the Digger Brothers to find some Stones.
