After the Xbox Series X was revealed at the last Game Awards by Microsoft, the gaming world expects Sony to do the same with its Playstation 5. A classic message appeared on their official website on December 31, 2019, accompanied by a quote that some people directly interpreted as an imminent announcement of their console.
Once again, the announcement makes gamers dream about the PS5 reveal. Still, there's a good chance that the press conference to be held at the CES 2020 show in Las Vegas (on January 6) will have nothing to do with the console. Indeed, the target audience at this event is much more professional and technical than directly 'gaming' oriented, and to focus on one's new baby would eclipse - rightly - all other announcements. A strategy that could then prove to be questionable, while reaching, at least for the moment, a much larger audience than usual.

To celebrate the New Year, a Japanese advertisement for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been posted showing previously unseen images. In addition, the official website has revealed the box art for the game, to be released on Nintendo Switch.
