Available on April 3rd for PS4, Xbox One and PC, Resident Evil 3 Remake will be unveiled a little more thanks to information published in this month's OPM UK magazine. Below is a short list of the new details retrieved by a member of the Resetera forum:
- The Nemesis will have the same artificial intelligence as the Tyrant in Resident Evil 2, in an improved version.
- The Nemesis has been created "IRL" to be scanned and then integrated into the game using photogrammetry.
- As for RE2 Remake, a great emphasis will be put on sound in the streets of Racoon City, with a spatialization that should turn some brains back.
- Players will visit the streets, shops, the Stagla oil station, Racoon's press offices and hospital. The areas will be much more open than in the original game.
- The Mercenary mode will be replaced by Project Resistance.
- Mutant worms will make a comeback.
- Carlos will be playable.
- The mechanics of action choices at certain points in the original game will disappear.
- No more multiple endings.
