The presence of the rarest skins in the Fortnite Item Shop sometimes triggers a form of hysteria in the community.
This was the case a few months ago with the Ghoul skin, and this morning the most assiduous collectors learned that the highly prized Renegade Raider skin was available in the Fortnite mobile Item Shop.
However, players were unable to get their hands this mythical skin, and for good reason — it was a transcription error by Epic Games. The skin on sale today is the basic Renegade (pictured below), not the ultra-rare Renegade Raider.
So, don't panic — mobile players weren't suddenly at an advantage in nabbing a prime piece of loot!
The Renegade Raider outfit is one of the most popular cosmetics in the game, alongside the Ghoul, Black Knight, and John Wick. It was available for purchase in Season 1 at 1200 Vbucks, and once Level 20 was reached.
In the Fortnite Item Shop for today you can get the brand new Ninja skin with its Dual Katanas, and even pull off his signature Ninja Style dance. Other items available include Bull Shark, Mayhem, and Smooth Moves.
