We're used to it now, the Overwatch League staff announcements are mainly done on Twitter. Yesterday Soe announced her new role as desk host with a song cover. Less original but just as informative, Jack "Jaws" Wright stated that he was "very excited to announce that he will be casting the Overwatch League 2020 season." The English caster joins the team and could bring a breath of fresh air to the league.
In a 2018 EsportsHeaven interview, he said that his "main goal is to make it into the Overwatch League as a caster or move to Korea and cast Overwatch from there." It's now a done deal!
He joins his English counterpart Brennon "Bren" Hook in this new job that allows him to experience the great adventure that is the Overwatch competitive scene. Only a few more days to wait before seeing him in action, on February 8 for the league big comeback!
After weeks of wondering who's going to replace Chris Puckett and Malik Forté as desk hosts for Overwatch League 2020, we have part of the answer. Salome "Soe" Gschwind just announced on her Twitter account that she'll be hosting the desk.
