When Does Season 2 Start?

Season 2 of Modern Warfare is scheduled to launch on February 11th. Players can expect a massive update to go live across all platforms either today (February 10th) or at 10AM PT (6PM GMT)

Leaked Video

A video has surfaced online and features a lot of what is expected to come in the second season of content.

Fan favourite character Ghost makes his long-awaited return to the Modern Warfare franchise alongside a brand new Battle Pass featuring plenty of brand-new cosmetic items, operator outfits, weapon blueprints and more!

Iconic Call of Duty map Rust also makes an appearance, seemingly confirming its return after data-miners managed to find it in the PC files of the game during its beta.

Will All The Content Be Available At Once?

Like Season One, it is unlikely that all the new content that is set to be officially revealed will be available as soon as the second season drops so players may have to wait before they get their hands on Rust once again.

New Weapons

Two new weapons will be added to the ever-expanding Modern Warfare arsenal. They will be available through the free Battle Pass at set tiers, likely 15 and 30 respectively.

The GRAU 5.56 becomes the latest addition to the Assault Rifle weapon category while the second weapon heavily resembles the UMP45 sub-machine gun from Modern Warfare 2. Known as the Striker 45, it becomes the newest SMG in the game.

New Maps

As seen in the video, Rust is set to return alongside Atlas Superstore, a new 6v6 map set in an abandoned superstore.

Ground War fans can rejoice as a new map is coming to the limited map pool. Zhokov Boneyard is set in a disused plane yard and looks like it features Scrapyard, another classic map from Modern Warfare 2.
