Information
- When: February 21st - 23rd 2020
- Where: Paris, France
- Players: 64 (32 on each platform)
- Prize Pool - $200,000
Format
- Each match will be played across two legs. The winner will be determined by the final score from both matches.
- In each phase of the tournament, if it is a tie after two legs then extra-time will follow. If the players are still tied, then a penalty shootout will take place.
Group Stage
- The 32 players on each platform will play each other at random.
- The players will play a maximum of 10 matches, with players needing to win three matches to advance to the knockout stage.
- Players that lose three matches will be eliminated from the tournament.
- Players will not play two matches against the same opponent.
Knockout Stage
- The top 16 players from each platform will play each other until there is one left.
- The players will compete in a single-elimination bracket and will be drawn against players based on their respective results in the group stage.
- The two remaining players from each platform will play in the grand finals.
Grand Final
- The final represents the last phase of the November FUT Champions Cup.
- The final will be between the winner of the Xbox and PlayStation finals.
- One match will be played on each console, with the winner taking home the $50,000 first prize.
