Fortnite update today: maintenance patch and bug fixes

Expected tomorrow, the first Chapter 2 Season 2 content patch is preceded this week by a short patch to fix bugs. Deployed on February 25 morning, the update addresses some of the issues that have been affecting players since the beginning of the "Top Secret" season. On its official Trello blog, Epic Games has listed the patches implemented.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that made the action of editing interfering with sprinting.
  • Fixed a bug with Aim Assist performing inconsistently.
  • Fixed a bug with the Corrupted style for the Scratch Outfit showing no corruption when viewed in the Lobby.
  • Fixed a bug when entering Maya's Upgrade Vault may result in a loss of input in the Vault until exiting a match or restarting the game.

This should satisfy players as the content patch approaches. Remember that files related to v12.10 and v12.20 already exist on the API according dataminers. With Season 2, the game may come back at a greater pace in terms of updates.
