The Ishgardian Restoration is getting some new content with the addition of a new zone: The Diadem. Gatherers will be able to help with the restoration and earn numerous rewards — here is the list of additions and changes implemented!
New areas are now available for restoration
Requirements:
- Completing the side story quest "Towards the Firmament"
- Speak with Augebert in the Firmament (X:11.4 Y:14.1)
- Any class or profession of Level 60 or higher
Ishgardian Restoration Materials
- With the addition of a new area to the restoration, new materials and crafts are now available and can be submitted to designated NPCs.
- Materials and craft from the previous part of the restoration can still be submitted.
The Kupo of Fortune
After reaching Level 20 players participating in the Ishgardian Restoration can also take part in this new lottery.
Stamps
- Submitting designated items to Potkin in the Firmament (X:12.2 Y:14.6) will reward players with stamps.
- Once five stamps have been collected, players can turn them in for a Kupo of Fortune card.
- Players can carry up to 10 Kupo of Fortune cards.
- Items required for stamps can vary according to the crafter class level.
Using the Kupo of Fortune card
- Lizbeth in the Firmament (X:12.2 Y:14.6) will take the player's Kupo of Fortune card
- Four chests are available, three on the right and one on the left
- Players can open one chest out of the four available
- The lone chest on the left offers prizes from second to fourth on the list, while the three chests on the right offer prizes from first to fifth, with the fifth being a consolation prize
- Prizes change every time a player hands in a new Kupo of Fortune card
Gatherer-exclusive Diadem content
Gatherers can now access the Diadem and gather exclusive items needed for Ishgardian Restoration crafts
Requirements and specifics
- A Fisher, Botanist or Miner at Level 10 or higher
- Parties can be comprised of one to eight players
- The time limit in the Diadem is 180 minutes
Experience
- All items gathered in the Diadem will grant experience points scaled according to the player's level.
Special Weather Conditions
- Rare items will only be available to gather under certain weather conditions
Aetheromatic Auger
- In the Diadem, players will gain access to the duty action Aetheromatic Auger. In order to perform the action, players must first increase the Auger's store of compressed aether by gathering as a Miner or Botanist. When enough compressed aether has been gathered, you may expend it to unleash a powerful attack against an enemy.
- Enemies defeated using the Auger are known to yield a wealth of resources.
Item Inspection
- Redeeming scrips from the Diadem can be done by speaking with Flotpassant in the Firmament in Ishgard (X:10.8 Y:14.0)
Resource requirements now available in the crafting log
- Selecting this subcommand for Ishgardian Restoration recipes will show players what materials they possess for crafting.
Skyward points
- Accumulated scores are tallied separately for each Disciple of the Hand and Land class, and count towards various achievements.
Ishgardian Restoration rankings
- Rankings for the Ishgardian Restoration are now available on the Lodestone
- Players finishing high in the rankings will be eligible for rewards and achievements.
- Rankings are specific to each World and Class
- Rankings will take place from Patch 5.21 deployment until March 19, 2020, at 11:00PM (PDT)
- Rankings in-game are available by speaking Ludovraint in the Firmament in Ishgard (X:10.6 Y:14.6)
Expert recipes
- Expert recipes will award more points toward the Ishgardian Restoration
- Expert recipes are indicated with an icon in the crafting log
- When crafting expert recipes, the condition will not change to "excellent" or "poor."
- New conditions have been added to Expert recipes:
• Centered: Increases action success rate by 25%
• Sturdy: Reduces loss of durability by 50% (Effect can be stacked with Waste Not and Waste Not II)
• Pliant: Reduces CP cost by 50%
Viewing previous steps of the Ishgardian Restoration
- Previous steps of the Ishgardian Restoration can now be checked in Past Progress.
Information on the Ishgardian Restoration is now displayed in the Duty List when you are in the Pillars, Foundation, or the Firmament in Ishgard
- Players need to have completed the " Towards the Firmament" quest for this option to be available.
Certain gathering spots are no longer available
- Gathering spots added in Patch 5.11 for Ishgardian Restoration items have been removed
