Revealed as the secret skin to be obtained via Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass, Deadpool reveals himself week after week through original challenges. Every Friday, players are invited to complete a pair of challenges that introduce us to the universe and the fetish items of this (special) superhero.
Most recently, Hypex got his hands on a somewhat different file, suggesting that the Dual Pistols will come back in Apollo Island as a Legendary weapon when the Deadpool skin is actually released.
Even more interesting, the leaker also managed to extract the statistics of the future weapon:
- Firing rate: 2.2 bullets per second
- Damage (short, medium, long range): 43-36-32
- Structure Damage: 43 or 55 (uncertain)
- Reload Time: 2.7sec
- Magazine Size: 18
The Dual Pistols made a quick 24-hour comeback at the Winterfest. Stats of the Epic version of the weapon almost exactly match this new Legendary variant.
Fortnite's weapon is perfectly suited for the dedicated skin since the superhero uses the Dual Pistols. It remains to be seen under which conditions the weapon will be able to be picked up and especially in which game modes it will appear.
The deployment of update 12.20 has enabled dataminers around the world to collect new cosmetic files, which will be released in the coming weeks in Fortnite.
