In Animal Crossing New Horizons, a content update was available for download on March 20, 2020, the game's release day. This patch mainly helped prepare for the arrival of the Easter event in April.
Today March 26, a Nintendo Direct presented this event for a few minutes. You can then meet Albin, the yellow rabbit, to help him collect his Bunny Day.
During the whole event, there will be holes on the ground (like fossils), and it will then be necessary to dig up the eggs to give them to Zipper. You can also find eggs in the water by fishing!
By collecting the eggs, you will unlock DIY recipes and can make special furniture from the Easter Series.

The Easter celebration will take place from April 1 to April 12.
