Because of the coronavirus, numerous events were canceled, postponed or schedule online due to healthy measure — and Hearthstone esports events made no exception to the rule, as shown with the Masters Tour Bali that was relocated to Los Angeles before being played online.
Hearthstone esports recently announced that the next two Masters Tour, to be held in Jönköping and Asia Pacific, will ensure the health and safety of all players and staff. In order to maintain integrity and equality between all competitors, the Masters Tour Online: Jönköping will take place from June 12 to 14 at European time (CET). The Masters Tour Online: Asia-Pacific will take place from July 16 to 19 at Korean time.
For Hearthstone esports, Masters Tower are built around the principle of a global community of players coming together to compete, and relationships forged in each event at the heart of eSports Hearthstone. Although the fight against the current health crisis has required that these events be organized remotely, this online structure is the exception. The HSesport teams will continue to monitor the world situation and are eager to find the players in person for the Masters Tour Montreal and the Masters Tour Madrid later in the year.
Although it is no longer possible to qualify for the Masters Tour Online: Jönköping , you can still try your luck in the Masters Tour Online: Asia-Pacific . For that, you will have to either:
- Win a Masters Qualifier between April 2 and May 24
- Finish with at least 7-2 at the Masters Tour Los Angeles or Jönköping
- Rank in the Top 8 of 5 Masters Qualifier for the Asia-Pacific Masters Tour Online
- Finish Top 16 Legend in the ladder for the months of April and May.
- Be a GrandMasters.
