Since the release of Season 3 for both Modern Warfare and Warzone, Infinity Ward is gradually releasing brand-new content for both titles, including new playlists, new cosmetic items and more Double XP events - The latest one taking place from April 17th.
Alongside the new items and events, two new game modes have been released, Scopes & Scatter Guns for Warzone and the return of Drop Zone.
What Is Scopes & Scatter Guns?
This new Warzone mode limits weapons to sniper rifles and shotguns, allowing for plenty of chaotic sniper battles across the rooftops and some intense close-quarters action inside the several buildings.
What is Drop Zone?
Drop Zone is a team-based mode where both teams battle for certain areas on the map. Players earn points by being inside the drop zone and the first team to reach the required points total is the winner.
Killstreaks can only be earned from the Care Packages that are dropped when the Drop Zone is in control.
New Bundles
The new bundles on offer in the store offer several new legendary weapon bluieprints alongside brand-new cosmetic items.
New Weekly Playlist
The new playlist for this week is Season 3 Moshpit and it contains Talisk Backlot ,Aniyah Incursion and Hovec Sawmill, the new maps released as part of Season 3.
From April 17th-20th, there will be Double XP and Double Weapon XP up for grabs.
Infinity Ward has revealed that a brand-new master camo will be arriving on Modern Warfare in the near future.
