With an ever-increasing number of players hoping to win an invitation for the next qualification stage for the Masters Tour Online: Asia Pacific , through one of the Masters Qualifiers, Hearthstone Esports has just announced on Twitter that the number of places available by Qualifier will be doubled, going from 512 to 1024 so that the maximum number of players can try their luck!
Even if the number of players becomes twice as large, it only means that there will be one additional round in the next qualifiers. It was questionable whether changes could take place in the number of qualifiers per tournament would increase or be modified in any way to compensate for this change, but very quickly the question was asked on Twitter and Hearthstone Esports replied in the stride, indicating that there will be no such change.
One more round is also less chance of reaching the Holy Grail of the Top 8, which allows you to qualify, even if you did not manage to win an Open Cup, after reaching the 5th. In a sense, all players will have a little more chance of qualifying it, being able to access more qualifiers than before. However, this is largely balanced by the additional difficulty that will be present in the Open Cups.
For the moment, Blizzard has not answered EzXarT's question concerning the distribution of the packs. It is not yet known whether the number of boosters won will change with this additional round.
