Fortnite FNCS Solo Invitational: Cheat and Aimbot in Open Qualifier

FNCS Solo Open Qualifier didn't run smoothly this weekend. Some pros call for a remake of at least one of the two sessions: some players would have used cheat and/or aimbot programs.

Running as an Open Qualifier, this weekend FNCS Solo didn't go as planned. Despite Epic Games' efforts to combat competitive cheating, the use of aimbot and other programs during Session 2 for Europe was proven. Several uploading videos of L2 mole and xbox controller appeared on social networks.

You can see the players making a real massacre in the middle of a FNCS game, simply with the help of a Minigun. Xbox controller even totaled 27 kills in one single game. His nickname is a kind of joke around the polemic of the aim assist for controllers players, but this sad performance is the result of an aimbot program.

Many professional players quickly spoke out to denounce a session tainted by massive cheating. Some want a complete remake of the Open Qualifiers.

At the time of writing, Epic Games hasn't yet made a decision and hasn't published the list of the 100 qualifiers — who were selected based on their total points accumulated over the weekend's two sessions.
