According to a leaked advert, the big reveal the Epic Games Store has been teasing is none other than Grand Theft Auto V.
A tweet from well-known video games news source Wario64 showed the now-deleted advert, which comes in video form. You can watch this below.
The ad reports that the game will be free to keep for anyone who claims it on the Epic Games Store before May 21.
Grand Theft Auto V was originally released to universal acclaim on the PS3 and Xbox 360, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions coming later.
It is one of the biggest-selling games of all time with more than 120 million units shipped. It generated almost a billion dollars in revenue in its first 24 hours alone. Even now it continues to appear on best-selling charts worldwide.
The studio chose the wrong day to make this announcement, but it doesn't seem like an April Fool. A portion of the online revenues from their two flagship titles, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto 5 will be donated to Covid-19 support funds.
