The video game industry is probably one of the ones that benefit most from containment. Rockstar has therefore published a message on Twitter to announce that it will participate in the effort to support people and businesses who are victims of the virus by offering 5% of the revenues from online purchases of Red Dead Online and GTA Online from April 1st to the end of May. It will be interesting to discover how much this will represent in total, especially during this period. In any case, this seems to be too serious a subject to make a joke about it.

The studio chose the wrong day to make this announcement, but it doesn't seem like an April Fool. A portion of the online revenues from their two flagship titles, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto 5 will be donated to Covid-19 support funds.
