Ah, Red Dead Redemption 2... Little angel gone too soon? Well it seems not! Despite what we might believe, it could indeed be that the starred firm wants to make PS5 players but also Xbox Series X and S players benefit from this masterpiece of 2018. We explain everything to you.
Red Dead Redemption 2 soon available on next-gen?
If the cult Grand Theft Auto 5 benefited from a recent release on PS5 and Xbox Series , it could indeed be the same for Red Dead 2 . According to a report from GameRant , a next-gen version of RDR2 is indeed in preparation on the side of Rockstar Games , and the latter should therefore benefit PS5 and Xbox Series X and S owners.
Unfortunately, that's all we know at the time of this writing, but we can imagine with difficulty that this next-gen version will simply be breathtaking when you see the result of Red Dead 2 on PS4 and Xbox One. Critically acclaimed, it was one of the highest rated games of all time. In addition, there is no so-called native version of the title for new generation consoles , even if the game is a little more efficient on them, and that is why a real next-gen version would only be better .
Imagine, you ride your horse in the West Lands scenery, all in 4K with ray tracing... It's still a dream! At least for console gamers. Anyway, we will have to wait for an officialization, or not, from Rockstar Games as to the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 next-gen version . However, with the release of GTA 5 last March on PS5 and Xbox Series, it would be more than logical for us to be able to enjoy RDR2 on these consoles as well.
On the side of Red Dead Online
And Red Dead Online , what becomes of it? Well unfortunately, not much... If GTA Online benefits from several additions, and this every week with more support than ever since the release of the title on PS5 and Xbox Series, Red Dead Online seems to have been abandoned . by the studio .
It's been a few months now that we've only had monthly bonuses, not weekly ones, and we still haven't had an announcement of a future major update to Online mode. We don't know if this is a strategy put in place by the studio to surprise its players at the last minute, or if the developers have abandoned the latter for good . Such a dropout would be a huge waste when we see the potential the Online mode has to offer.
In addition, rumors announced that we would have the possibility, in the more or less distant future, of acquiring real properties but also the possibility of carrying out real robberies, as in the Story mode. However, at the time of writing, everything seems to have been put on the PAUSE button for our greatest misfortune, but as the saying goes, patience is a virtue.
