Fishing will be more difficult since the legendary ones are heavier than the normal versions of these fish. You will have to start with the mission A Fisher of Fish and send him fish by mail. He will send you a rather vague map with the position of 13 legendary fish.
How to catch a legendary fish?
Don't just hope to send your fishing line into the water and bring up some legendary fish. Go to the bait shop in Bayou, just above the word "Lagras" on the map. You have to buy three special lures, sold for $20 each:
- Special lure for lake
- Special river lure
- Special lure for marshes
Conventional bait does not work on these fish. All you have to do is go to a fishing point indicated on the map, equip your fishing stick and then select the right type of lure according to the aquatic environment corresponding to R1/RB. Make sure it is a fish corner, they are recognizable by the whirlwinds caused by the fish.
You must therefore bring the lure back very slowly by turning the right stick (R) clockwise. Then you have to be patient, if nothing bites in the minute, you can use R2/RT once to attract fish, but no more, otherwise you will scare them.
When you have a catch, you have to take it back to the post office. The biggest ones will be placed on your horse. They must then be carried to the counter to be sent.
