Call of Duty Warzone: new map leak ahead of Season 4

The Warzone map is the subject of much debate as we approach Season 4 of Call of Duty. Not concerning its structure, but its destruction. Various rumors have emerged surrounding Bunker 11's nuke.

Call of Duty Warzone: new map leak ahead of Season 4

Dataminer TheGamingRevolution has detailed in a new video just how much Verdansk could change in Season 4 of Call of Duty.

The first rumors concerned a nuclear bomb explosion, a hypothesis supported by the fact a nuclear warhead could be seen in Bunker 11 once the bunkers were opened.

However, with this apparent leak, it seems a different direction is being taken. Code strings in the game files seem to point towards a missile strike on the dam located in the northwest of Verdansk as being the catalyst for change.

The line 'flood_dam_break_street_water' points towards mass flooding of the area, significantly shaking things up. Audio files relating to water rushing, ice breaking, and wolves howling have also been found to support this theory.

Other references in the video talk of tank battles and radiation, and lead us back to the aforementioned Bunker 11 - certain to have a pivotal role in whatever comes next.

For now, nothing has been confirmed by Infinity Ward or Activision. We'll find out when Season 4 drops on June 3.
