It's one of the selling points of the Xbox Series X, the Smart Delivery system will allow players with Xbox One to get games on Xbox Series X at no additional cost, but what about the PS5?
Asked by the Japanese site GameSpark , SIE indicates via one of their spokespersons, that they want to allow the different publishers to decide if they want to set up an upgrade system for their own games. This statement follows the Sony conference which has not announced any cross-gen game.
One could wonder if we'll see such initiative from the publishers as EA announced that players who purchased Madden NFL 21 on PS4 will, for a limited time, be able to get it back for free on PS5 if the player owns the PS5 Standard and not Digital.
