As every year, Electronic Arts gave some news of some of their next games. A 45-minute segment, with few games shown, but a Star Wars: Squadrons that promises and, above all, the unhoped-for return of the Skate franchise.
Apex Legends
Opening with Apex Legends and a season 5 that will host a new event and a new temporary mode on June 23rd. But the big news is crossplay and the arrival of the game on Nintendo Switch this autumn.
The Sims
Little news around The Sims, apart from the announcement of the arrival of the game on Steam, along with other headlines from the publisher.
It Takes Two
On the EA Originals side, Josef Fares was present to talk about It Takes Two, another cooperative game from Hazelight, with a rather meta context, since it will be about two dolls exploring emotions.
Lost in Random
Lost in Random will allow players to explore a world strongly reminiscent of American Mc Gee's Alice, which is not to our liking, in an action-adventure game with charming art direction.
Rocket Arena
Rocket Arena, the latest game presented tonight under the EA Originals label, will feature ultra-dynamic and colorful 3V3 battles. We've been able to try it out for a few hours, and we'll tell you about it very (very) quickly.
Star Wars: Squadrons
Without any surprise, Star Wars: Squadrons was finally the star of the evening, with a gameplay trailer that promises a lot of nice things for this 5V5 dogfight game scheduled for October 2nd.
Sports Games
Before the last announcement, EA had a lot to say about the PS5 and Xbox Series X: of course, they're working on it, and studios like Dice and Bioware are already working on these new machines.
SKATE 4
And finally here it is, the last reveal of the evening and a big surprise for a lot of players: Skate 4 is now a reality! Skateboard fans didn't dare to hope for such an announcement anymore and yet, the duo of designers of the series were present to confirm the good news. On the other hand, no image to be put under the tooth.
