Sadly, Microsoft won't release any exclusive information about the Xbox Series S (Lockhart) during the Xbox Games Showcase.

Although everyone was expecting the company to unveil more about their upcoming console, Head of Global Product Marketing for Xbox Aaron Greenberg detailed on Twitter that the event will be entirely dedicated to the presentation of first-party games

I know everyone is excited for Xbox Games Showcase next Thursday. Seen some wild expectations so if helpful this show has one focus, games. No business, devices or similar news, just games. A whole show about hour-long focused on games. Hope you enjoy it!

We can expect to finally see some gameplay of Halo Infinite, maybe some footage of Hellblade II, and certainly some shivering "World Premiere" to which Xbox got us used to in the previous E3.

All of this will be condensed into a one-hour-long conference broadcasted live on Twitch and YouTube. Prior to this conference, Xbox is actively communicating about their future, for instance by giving more details about their cloud gaming offer. Moreover, we had the privilege to interview Phil Spencer together with our colleagues at jeuxvideo.com.

The Xbox Games Showcase will kick-off on Thursday, July 23 at 9 a.m. PT.

Interview: Phil Spencer talks xCloud, Series X design and the future of the console market

In the run up to the big Xbox showcase on July 23, we had the chance to sit down with Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox for Microsoft. Watch as we talk Series X, what it can do compared to the current generation, and how he sees the console market playing out in the future.
