The next season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone will be out on August 05 at 11pm PT/ 7am BST. The update will be bigger than usual.
Paul Haile, developper on Infinity Ward, announced that the patch will be pretty big, in order to reduce the size of the game as a whole, especially for consoles.
However, and for the first time ever, Sony allows PS4 players to pre-download Season 5 as of now. The Version 1.24 weights 36 GB. Of course, players won't be able to install it before August 05th.
Reducing the size of the game allows console players not to waste too much storage space on their consoles.The dev team is still actively working on it for future updates. In addition, here is some information regarding the various fixes that will be available on Wednesday:
- Fixed the spawning issue on the RPK cannon
- Fixed Rytec sight customization
- Fixed exploits on Picadilly
- Fixed player physics on helicopters
- Fixed a bug on ammunition
- Fixed the Precision Strike casting error
- Fixed card issues
- Fixed bugs on Operator challenges
- Aesthetic correction on Captain Price
- Fixed the Promenade map
- Fixed Headshot mode only in Custom Game
