Shroud's break from streaming turned out to be rather short-lived, with the famous ex-pro and streamer "coming home" to Twitch. On August 11, Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek announced that he had signed an exclusive contract with Amazon's streaming platform after the conclusion of his agreement with Mixer, which ceased operations several weeks prior. The financial terms of this contract are not currently available to the public.
A New Beginning
With his return to Twitch, Shroud has expressed a desire to completely revamp his stream and plans to introduce a new logo. Shroud's channel can still be found in the same place as before, and former subscribers will feel right at home watching their idol show off his "human aim-bot" on stream
Now that Shroud has led the way, it remains to be seen where the likes of Tyler "Ninja" Blevins and Dr. Disrespect will end up long term. However, with the Doc making a return to streaming on Youtube, we may be seeing Twitch's absolute monopoly over streaming once again face a serious competition.
