A few hours before the beginning of Chapter 2 Season 4, scheduled for August 27, Fortnite multiplies clues and teasing elements, sometimes even in-game. Following the progress of the comic book plot that features Thor, Mjölnir has crashed on Apollo Island. You can see it between Weeping Woods and Salty Springs.

The hammer is located in the middle of a huge calcined crater. The weapon was dropped by Thor after he lost his memory while flying over the island. At the time of writing, the hammer and the crater are purely decorative — there is no way to interact with them.
This could change very soon with the very close arrival of Chapter 2 Season 4, or even the revelation of the last pages of the Marvel comic book, in the main menu.
