The off-season for Call of Duty esports is in full swing. Since the announcement of competitive Call of Duty returning to a four-versus-four team structure, all 12 franchise teams have been making changes ahead of the start of the Black Ops Cold War season.

Seattle Surge
After a disappointing debut season, change was inevitable for the Surge. The team has dismissed all players apart from Sam "Octane" Larew. The Surge are currently looking for three for the new season
September 9th: Octane has had his contract extended into 2021.
September 23rd: Gunless, Prestinni, and Loony have been signed to the Surge, completing the roster.

New York Subliners
The Subliners managed to get its act together midway through the Modern Warfare season. Despite this, Temp, Accuracy, Happy, and Censor have all been let go, leaving New York in search of a player.
October 9th: Young French talent HyDra joins the team, finalising the roster.
September 9th: Mack, ZooMaa, and Attach have had their contracts extended into 2021.
September 15th: Attach leaves the Subliners. New York are looking for two.
September 18th: Clayster joins from the Dallas Empire. New York are looking for one player to round out the roster.

London Royal Ravens
The London Royal Ravens impressed many during the playoffs, eventually finishing fourth. This wasn't enough for some of the players to retain their position on the team. All but one player was placed into free agency, leaving London looking for three.
October 29th: Zer0, Dylan, and Alexx join the team, completing the roster.
September 9th: London announce Seany's contract has been extended for 2021.

Chicago Huntsmen
Even the fan-favourites have been making moves. Both Prestinni and Arcitys have left the team, leaving the Huntsmen looking for a new addition ahead of the new season.
September 9th: Envoy, Formal, Scump and General have their contracts extended.
September 14th: Dashy is announced as Chicago's fourth player. He completes the line-up.

Minnesota RØKKR
Minnesota started the Modern Warfare season on the front foot, before the team slumped when the league transitioned to an online format. Having failed to regain their form, all five players have been dismissed.
September 15th: Accuracy, Attach, Priestahh, and MajorManiak join the team for the 2021 season.

Los Angeles Guerrillas
Like the Seattle Surge, the LA Guerrillas failed to move any higher than the bottom of the league table, ultimately resulting in drastic change ahead of season two. All but one players has left the team, leaving the Guerrillas looking for three new additions.
October 12th: Apathy, Assault, and SiLLY join the team to complete the starting line-up.
September 9th: LA Guerrillas announces Vivid's contract has been extended for 2021.

OpTic Gaming Los Angeles
The Green Wall is also undergoing a makeover ahead of the new season. Four players have left the team, while four players remain although none appear to have recommitted to the team.
October 3rd: TJHaLy announces he will remain with the team for a second season.
September 9th: Kuavo, Slasher, and Drazah's contracts have been extended.

Paris Legion
The Paris Legion is another team that has dismissed its entire roster. Current rumors suggest that the Legion may be looking more locally for next season.

Toronto Ultra
Although the Ultra managed to end the season with an impressive run of form, seven of its ten-man roster have been added to the free agent list.
October 6th: Bance and Methodz will remain with the team for season two.
September 9th: Cammy and CleanX have had their contracts extended.

Florida Mutineers
Mid-season front-runners Florida appear to be relatively quiet regarding changes to its starting line-up but there is still plenty of time for changes to take place. So far, substitute Maux has become an unrestricted free agent.
September 9th: Frosty has become an unrestricted free agent. Florida is looking for one player.
September 9th: Fero, Owakening, and Skyz have their contracts extended.

Dallas Empire
Last and by no means least is the Dallas Empire. Just 24 hours after winning the first Call of Duty League championship, North American veteran Clayster was let go from the team, confirming the remaining four as the starting line-up for season two.
September 9th: Crimsix, iLLeY, Huke, and Shotzzy's contracts have been extended, alongside Clayster, who remains in restricted free agency.
European veteran and substitute Tommey has also become an unrestricted free agent.

Atlanta FaZe
All appears well for the Atlanta FaZe. There have been rumors surrounding Priestahh's departure from the team but nothing official as of yet.
September 9th: aBeZy, Cellium, MajorManiak, Simp, and Priestahh all extend contracts. Still no word on a confirmed line-up.
September 15th: Priestahh and MajorManiak have left the team. Arcitys has filled the remaining place on the team, confirming the roster.
