Fortnite: Pro Fishing Rod Fishing Stats, Fish Spawn Rates

Midas and Vendetta Floppers now clearly appear in Fortnite game files. Some dataminers have even managed to find some fish spawn rates if you're equipped with a pro fishing rod.

If you want to complete your fish collection or simply stock up on useful consumables, the Fortnite pro fishing rod will be your best friend. This item — which arrived on Apollo Island at the beginning of Season 4 — allows you to fish the different varieties of fish present in-game.

Very recently, dataminer Hypex — to whom we owe many leaks on the current episode of the battle royale — got his hands on the percentages of chances to catch all the different fishs with a pro fishing rod (rare).

At the time of writing — and even if it appears in the files — the Midas Flopper cannot be fished yet. It's also possible, as Hypex indicates, that the drop rate indicated (0.00004%) is only a placeholder used by the developers, which may be modified when it's officially released in-game.
