The League of Legends World Championship is almost here, and now the groups have now been drawn for the Main Event at Worlds 2020.

As a summary:
- Teams are drawn into four groups, based on seeding.
- Groups are played as a double round-robin format.
- All matches are best-of-one.
- The top two teams from each group qualify for the Knockout Stage.
The first match of the League of Legends World Championship 2020 gets under way on Friday, September 25 at 10 AM CET / 1 AM PDT

A spicy EU vs NA encounter will happen almost immediately at Worlds 2020 as Team Liquid and MAD Lions have been drawn together in Group A of the Play-In Stage. Elsewhere, Unicorns of Love will take on LGD Gaming in Group B.
