From now on, competitive seasons in Fortnite will be marked by two major tournaments. In addition to the FNCS, there will be several DreamHack Open.
In partnership with the organization of the same name, the September edition involves $250,000 and will be the third to take place — after Teeq won the first one and K1nzell the second.
The tournament will begin this Saturday at 8:00 AM PT with Heat One. Sunday will host the Grand Final Qualifier and the Grand Final. To register, you'll need to fill out this form.
Schedule
The tournament is spread over two days. All registrants will have up to 10 games to score maximum points. Two Heats will be played. The best 750 of each will qualify for Stage 2. The 1,500 best players will then compete in a very punitive round where only the top 100 will advance to the Grand Final.
Scoring System
Each elimination rewards five points. You'll also earn points based on your ranking as described below.
In terms of rewards, $250,000 will be divided among all players who make it to the Grand Final.
