At first glance, a next season and many more are planned for Call of Duty: Warzone.
Treyarch has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be integrated into Warzone. Integration is coming when the new game releases on November 13th, but there has been no word as to whether Modern Warfare will be getting a seventh season.
Leaks suggesting a prosperous future
Based on the BKTOOR_ leaks, there shouldn't be a problem with rolling out future seasons for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. As highlighted in the image just below, it reads " Buy the Battle Pass for Season 6 and collect up to 1300 CP as you level up. Use these to purchase next season's Battle Pass so that the 'action never stops."
However, the CoD Points are linked to our Activision accounts, which could mean that these 1,300 points could be useful to buy the first season of Cold War content.
Even though we see the MW logo, it should be remembered that Warzone is still linked to Modern Warfare and will soon be directly linked to Black Ops Cold War.
In addition, we must not rule out the possibility that the text present above is only a vulgar copy and paste and that the information is completely generic between each season.
The same seasons between games?
Come to think of it, another option might just be possible, including one where seasons would be available between each game. Since Modern Warfare and Warzone are still linked, nothing could prevent the deployment of a Season 7 for Modern Warfare and Warzone, with Season 1 beginning on Cold War
A Season 1 Battle Pass for Cold War has already been confirmed so it's unlikely that this theory will come to fruition.
There is still a lot of doubt hovering around Season 7 of Modern Warfare. It is quite possible that only data-miners will be able to guide us on the subject in the future, with leaks coming directly from Modern Warfare. This could be a real indicator, but at the moment it is still too early to make any real speculation.
