Epic Games has just revealed a competition unlike any other with the Marvel Knockout Super Series in Fortnite. Four tournaments are planned and the first one is called the Daredevil Cup.
The circuit will conclude with a final tournament, with a million dollar prize pool, on November 21. The unique thing about this competition is that it will only take place in the Marvel Knockout LTM — which is a drastic change from the classic battle royale game mode.
Schedule
- Daredevil Cup: October 14

- Final Tournament: November 21
Epic Games ensures that the other three tournaments will take place in November. Each of them should logically feature a new superhero and exclusive cosmetics. The top three Daredevil Cup trios will receive a preview of the Daredevil skin — before it officially goes on sale in the Item Shop. All players who participate in all four cups will receive an exclusive Nexus War Glider.
Even though part of the community criticizes Epic Games for gradually disengaging from "classic" esports and the organization of a perennial competitive circuit, the editor is dynamizing its tournament calendar with events based on temporary and/or fun game modes.
One thing is for sure, you'll have to revise the meta of this particular mode if you want to hang a part of the prize pool of this unusual competition.
