After months of theories and leaks, the nuclear event for Warzone is all but confirmed.
For some time, the community lost hope and it looked like that no event was going to take place.
But what actually happened is that the community delving far too deep. Many events were anticipated too far in advance, causing the disappointments to accumulate. Infinity Ward had, and has, a plan for Warzone, and everything will develop with greater intensity as the launch of Black Ops Cold War approaches.
With the launch of patch 1.28, it has been discovered that the event will be called "Rebirth" and that it will have this logo in the game. Like the Black Ops Cold War event, it will be an event in which players will meet to see how the life of the Verdansk map ends.
That's all we know for now, besides the location of the nuclear bomb in one of the bunkers, the location from which it will launch, and so forth. But we don't have much more information that allows us to discover what day all this will start and when Cold War will land. Hopefully the new map is leaked soon and we can take a look.
Here are the full 1.28 patch notes, so you can see all the changes and adjustments that have been made in Modern Warfare and Warzone.
