What's better than having one Kovač on your team? Simple: two Kovač players! The eternal kings of recruitment announcements, G2 have dealt a major blow to their competitors by recruiting one of esports' top names.

A family affair — this is now what G2 Esports will represent in the genealogy of a Bosnian line, one rather gifted with mouse in hand.

After having secured the services of Nemanja Kovač, aka huNter, during a double recruitment drive completed at the end of 2019, the European org has now announced the closure of the NiKo signing from FaZe Clan.

According to G2 founder Carlos "Ocelote" Rodríguez Santiago in the official press release, it's "the biggest signing in the history of CS:GO"

CS:GO — FaZe Clan crowned European champions of IEM New York

FaZe Clan are the European champions of IEM New York 2020. This year, the competition was split into separate regions due to the pandemic, but this still represents a significant achievement for the European side, who will receive $70,000 and 400 ESL Pro Tour points for their win.
