Microsoft has a clear strategy with this new generation of consoles: attract all types of audiences. On the one hand, Series X will be the most powerful console of this new generation while welcoming more casual players through Series S.
According to some players who received their Xbox Series S early, the console could have a storage problem in the future.
We already knew that its SSD hard drive was not going to be as large as that of the other models, or even that of PlayStation 5, but it will still be less than the announced 512 GB.
This Reddit user who already received a Series S states that the total storage for Series S applications and games is at 364 GB. This means that a total of 148 GB are used by the system.
Although several experts have confirmed that the use of SSDs will make game files more optimized, it still is a lot less than some could have expected, even if it is still possible to expand its storage with extra storage cards.
