After plenty of speculation and reports that 100 Thieves had entered the Call of Duty League, it has been confirmed that the organization has entered the CDL as the second Los Angeles franchise.

After reports surfaced that Immortals had sold the slot to OpTic Gaming founder Hector "Hecz" Rodriguez, many assumed that the spot would be heading the way of 100T and they were correct.

The Los Angeles will be replacing OpTic Gaming Los Angeles for the second season of the CDL.

The announcement comes as a surprise after 100T founder and ex-professional Call of Duty player Matt "Nadeshot" Haag initially stayed away from the league due to a lack of financial resources.

LA Thieves Roster

  • Austin "SlasheR" Liddicoat
  • Kenny "Kuavo" Williams
  • Thomas "TJHaLy" Haly
  • Zack "Drazah" Jordan

Opinion: Seeing 100 Thieves entering the Call of Duty League is certainly a positive for both parties involved. 100T brings in a passionate fan base drawn in by Nadeshot's involvement and his past in Call of Duty esports.

It seems like a good fit. 100T returns to its spiritual home and the CDL secures another big-name brand in its ever-expanding league.
