After several months of rumors, private matches have finally been added into Warzone.

Patch 1.29 for Modern Warfare and Warzone has gone live across all platforms. 

The latest update has bought in a wealth of changes and additions in what appears to be the final update before the release of Black Ops Cold War on November 13th.

One of the more significant changes is the addition of private matches to Warzone.

Find out everything you need to know about the matches, including how to set one up and the minimum number of players required to start one.

How To Start A Private Warzone Match

  • Select the "Private Match, Practice Modes & Trials" tab on the Warzone menu.
  • Select which mode you want to play.
  • Reach the minimum number of players needed to start the game. 
  • Drop into Verdansk!

Minimum Player Requirements

  • BR Modes - 50 Players
  • Plunder - 30 Players
  • Mini BR - 24 Players

It's important to note that Private Matches are currently in beta so if there are any bugs encountered, be sure to report them to Infinity Ward.
