Surprise smash hit Dead Cells, a rogue-lite Metroidvania game about a slime-like creature that inhabits corpses, has sold 3.5 million copies across all platforms, developer Motion Twin said.
The team behind the game also revealed that the game's second DLC will be titled Fatal Falls, and will release in early 2021. The DLC features two new biomes and a new boss.
"The two new biomes, Fractured Shrines and The Undying Shores, are a parallel to the Stilt Village, Clock Tower & Time Keeper areas and their alternate paths," Motion Twin said. "So if you need a break from getting slaughtered by undead pirates or hearing "Let's finish this," then you're in luck!"
The DLC will retail for $4.99.
